At the same time we deeply thank the brave and conscious American peace activists who condemned the use of drones and carried a replica of the hated drones in the April 9th Anti-war rally and march in NYC, called by the United National Anti-war Committee (UNAC). YOU ARE THE REAL AMERICANS WHO WANT PEACE AND THE PAKISTANI COMMUNITY THANKS YOU! On April 9th, the United National Anti-war Committee (UNAC) brought together thousands of voices for peace, social and economic justice, in a unifying effort to stop the wars that both Republicans and Democrats in Congress continue funding and supporting. PAKUSAFF wants to especially congratulate the creative and conscious American peace activist who constructed with his own hands a replica of the U.S. military’s latest weapon of mass destruction and carried the symbolic gray Drone, the hated U.S. aircraft, a symbol of death that drops bombs on hundreds of innocent villagers, destroying the lives of innocent men, women and babies inn Pakistan and Yemen. Now President Obama, NATO and the western powers once again are cheating the United Nations Resolution on Libya, ordering the silent, deadly drone attacks against the people of Libya. Using drones to bomb a sovereign country is a violation of every book and law of the United Nations. All peace-loving people oppose these criminal attacks. The government of Pakistan and the highest command generals must respect the wishes of the people of Pakistan and demand that the U.S. stop these drone attacks. On behalf of the PAKUSAFF, we extend our full support and our congratulations to all our brave brothers and sisters who took part in the courageous action called by Mr Imran Khan, Leader Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, staging the protest sit-in in Peshawar, on the route to NATO supply lines to highlight the issue of Drone Attacks, Missing Persons, Dr. Aafia and other illegal detainees abroad and other security and sovereignty issues of the nation. We also salute our brave compatriots from many Pakistani organizations and groups for joining in this action and bringing mothers, brothers, sisters, daughters to denounce the violation of our country’s sovereignty and to highlight the plight of our countrymen and women, caused by the interference of the U.S. in our internal affairs.
