Concerns of Pakistani Living Abroad

Dear Pakistani friends and people of conscience all over the world,

The Pakistan USA Freedom Forum is a New York based organization dedicated to the defense of the Constitution based on human rights and immigrant rights.

This letter to Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani is an attempt to convey the real feelings of Pakistanis living abroad and at home regarding the need for Pakistan to play an important role in the world movement for peace and harmony and dialogue between different faiths and opinions. We are asking the PM to have an open policy where people have access to the information around which this policy is based.

We praise the struggles of the lawyers, journalists, students, workers,peasants, women and religious people who have been fighting to make Pakistan a distinguished country to promote the Constitution and the judges of the country, making the country unique in this century and supporting the struggle of neighboring countries, such as Nepal, where the people have overthrown the200-year-old monarchy that has been sucking the people's blood.



We urge the PM to not choose as a minister or ambassador any person who has not lived in the country for the last five years, because many of the people from Pakistan that have been living in the wets have a conflict of interest (green card and passport holder) to their Homeland, besides in Pakistan there people who has been fighting for Democracy for years and have a strong understanding of the struggle. Also, we are asking Parliament to open all files of the last eight years to expose the dirty games of the army dictator retired General Musharraf and the imperialist powers, we asking PM to remove the foreign troops that are in the Pakistan Territory (Air bases).

We are asking you to feel free to endorse this letter and add your own suggestions to the PM on the policy of Pakistan.
